The Pigeon House arrives!
The Pigeon House t-shirt finally arrives, after sitting around as a sketch for months.
The view on the t-shirt is the view I have every weekend as I pass the Pigeon House chimneys at Ringsend, on my way out to Howth. I wasn't sure how people would take to the design at first, but I shouldn't have waited with it for so long as it is fast becoming the bestseller we have.
The chimneys themselves have become an iconic landmark for Dubliners and tourists alike. They were in danger of being knocked down until Dubliners petitioned to have their beloved chimneys protected. In July 2014 the chimneys of "the Pigeon House" finally became listed as protected structures, ensuring their survival as a famous part of the Dublin skyline.
